John Knights completed a Bachelor of Arts (Interior Design) degree at Sydney College of the Arts. As a part of his studies, he spent a year in Germany where he extended his knowledge of interior architecture and furniture design. He has 30 years of experience in residential design, with most of this experience being acquired working with the internationally renowned Interior Designer, the late Frank Grill.

With projects completed in Sydney, Melbourne, New York and Los Angeles, John’s creations are characterised by both classic style and innovation. His design process puts emphasis on capturing the clients’ expectations and reflecting their own personal style.

All areas of a project, whether high-level concepts or the finer details, are included in the service. This includes everything from the initial design briefings, concepts, and thorough documentation through to the coordination of tradespeople, suppliers and on-site supervision. All areas are professionally and expertly managed until the project is complete, including ongoing design consultation.

With high expectations for beautiful craftsmanship and detail, John Knights delivers longevity, practicality, and homes that are unique to each client. He strives to provide projects that are coordinated and managed at each step of development, and also provide continuing design consultation once the project is completed.

It is important that the end result of each project is a reflection on the individual client’s tastes and requirements. This is achieved by listening to clients’ desires and expectations, forming these into a design concept, and then managing that concept into a reality – whatever the clients’ budget.
